Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Responsibility to set up painting technology according customers specification.
  • Define processes and prepare technology documentation, working instructions and visual aids for surface treatment processes (sand blasting, degreasing, wet painting).
  • Define and set up process parameters according used materials and processes.
  • Communicate with paint supplier in area of painting process improvement, cost reduction setting the optimal process parameters and environment.
  • Ensure technical support for production, problem solving activities in area of surface treatment.
  • Communicate with customer regarding engineering changes of painting process, quality problem solving or cost reduction.
  • Define necessary equipment for painting process together with another departments in  the company. Propose new advanced technology solutions, propose solution for reduction of emissions and environment protection
  • Optimize the blasting process, improve quality and reduce cost  of blasting operations.
  • Participates on prototype build or another samples production, verify process and set-up the process parameters.
  • Prepares data for costing and process calculation (paint consumption, process standard time, consumables, e.t.c)
  • Implements approved changes in technological documentation and engineering database.

Personality requirements and skills

  • University or high school education (mechanical engineering or chemistry)
  • Experiences with wet painting process  and another surface treatment technologies (blasting, degreasing, phosphating)
  • English language
  • MS Office, knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor would be an advantage
