Job description, responsibilities and duties

Co-ordinate and Manage IT Service Operational activities under Plant IT Operations, primarily covering Incident, Problem and Change Management tasks that includes driving conclusive RCAs, Corrective Actions and permanent fix by cross functional teams. Department is Jaguar Land Rover, Nitra.

Key responsibilities:
- Coordination with Tower Teams for Incident Analysis, Remedy updates, Incident Ageing tracking etc. to ensure adherence to set process and quality.
- Analysis of recurring incidents and coordinate with cross tower teams to create proactive problem records and execute corrective actions.
- Participate in Lean daily team meetings.
- Prepare daily reports, capture & track analysis details and provide status update to customer.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis and Track actions.
- Participate in Major Incidents to bring in right focus by tower teams for service restoration.

Key Skills/Knowledge:
• Good understanding of Plant IT Systems & Integrations
• Good understanding of ITIL V3.0 methodology
• Good knowledge in using BMC Remedy
• Good knowledge in generating reports and data visualization / representation techniques
• Techno-Functional / Cross Tower experience from Automotive domain
• Good understanding of Automotive Manufacturing business processes and Workflows
• Fair understanding of Automotive IT landscapes (Plant Networks, Datacentres, Database, Plant Floor Application, Track side Equipments etc, ERP & Warehouse apps)

Technical Skills (preferred)
• Understanding of MES, OPC Servers
• Understanding of PLC, SCADA Systems, Manufacturing End point and IT touch points
• Basic RDBMS Skills (Mainly SQL Server-Writing SQL queries, stored procedures etc.)
• Microsoft .NET – VB.Net,C#.Net
• Microsoft Excel - VBA, Writing Macros

Other Skills:
• Manufacturing & Automotive Industry Knowledge
• Ability to work with multi-disciplined team to delivery expected outcome.

Experience required:
• Experience working in a dynamic & highly demanding Environment, preferable in a Mfg. IT Service Delivery / Support Organization
• Knowledge in handling cross functional, cross tower teams
